Cluster is a decorative sans serif typeface that draws inspiration from a penmanship style observed from my highschool my alma mater. The disctinct way the ""a"" was written, sharp and small, made it words more clustered together. The lowercase letter ""a"" served as the main key visual of the entire process. The prompt used in creating this typeface is the theme of nostalgia. By looking back old notes from my highschool days, the visual of the type was created. The style is made to create an imitation of a thin, sharp, but uniformed handwriting that, while prevalent, was difficult to learn and ingrain in my own penmanship.
